Edwin Mastic Taylor

Edwin Mastic Taylor (1858-1898) was the third child of Samuel Penfield Taylor and Muriel’s great uncle. He was named after one of the first attorneys in San Francisco, Edwin B. Mastic.  Edwin and his bother Fredrick sailed to the goldfields of Alaska in May, 1898, but their schooner, the Jane Grey, sank during the trip and both brothers perished.
