Wyatt Earp

Wyatt Earp (1848-1929) was a famous gunman, sheriff and gambler of the old west. Using his reputation with the gun, Wyatt was hired to quell labor and theft problems at some Tonopah mines. He also owned a gambling hall in Tonopah called “The Northern.”  As a child, Muriel used to see him on the streets of Tonopah and wave, and then laugh when he tipped this hat.  For more information about Wyatt Earp, click here.
