Jean Weiner

Jean Weiner (1895-1950) was a famous French pianist and composer who worked at the Boeuf sur le Toit with Clement Doucet, another highly respected pianist.  The two formed a partnership and appeared in over 2,000 concerts and made over 100 recordings together including several with Maurice Chevalier, Edith Piaf and Yvonne George.

Muriel and Bob became friends with both men in 1925 when they started appearing at the Boeuf.  When one of them was not able to preform, Muriel often filled in at the piano.
