Hotel du Cap

Located on the French Riviera near Antibes, the Hotel du Cap, first opened its doors in 1889.  During the 1920s, the hotel was a favorite get-a-way for many of the notables of the “Lost Generation” who came here from around the world to relax and play. Considered one of the most exclusive hotels in the world, it is still a favorite place of film stars today during the Cannes Film Festival. Bob and Muriel first went to Hotel du Cap in 1926 where they partied with Scott & Zelda Fitzgerald, Hemingway and Gerald and Sara Murphy.  They also performed at the hotel’s club located high on a rock overlooking the sea.
